Note: This simulation was originally made in July 7th, 2021.
In this simulation, the tributes consist of many characters that have appeared as bosses throughout the video games of Super Mario Bros. Just like in the previous simulation, the districts will be referred to as Worlds, which are organized in the following way:
World 1 = Goomboss (who first appeared in Paper Mario 64 before making appearances in other Mario games such as Super Mario 64 DS and Mario Kart DS) and King Bowser Koopa himself (Team Monarch)
World 2 = Dry Bowser (who first appeared in New Super Mario Bros. as an undead version of Bowser before reappearing in other games as a separate character) and King Boo (Team Undead)
World 3 = Petey Piranha and Gooper Blooper (Team Sunshine)
World 4 = King Bob-omb and Whomp King (Team 64)
World 5 = Kamek and General Guy (from Paper Mario 64) (Team Magic)
World 6 = King Lakitu (from Super Mario Galaxy 2) and Tower Power Pokey (from Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam) (Team Desert)
World 7 = King Kaliente (from Super Mario Galaxy) and Prince Pikante (from Super Mario Galaxy 2) (Team Octopus)
World 8 = Vincent van Gore (from Luigi's Mansion) and Bouldergeist (from Super Mario Galaxy) (Team Haunted)
World 9 = Boolossus (from Luigi's Mansion) and the King Boo from Super Mario Sunshine (Team Boo)
World 10 = Topmaniac (from Super Mario Galaxy) and Monty Tank (from New Super Mario Bros.) (Team Tech)
World 11 = Major Burrows and Undergrunt Gunner (both of them from Super Mario Galaxy) (Team Mole)
World 12 = Elder Princess Shroob (from Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time) and Sir Grodus (from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door) (Team RPG)
Before continuing, feel free to choose which is your preferred team out of the 12. As for me, I must admit it was a tough call, but I've decided I'm going with World 2 a.k.a. Team Undead. Team Undead, I choose you!!
As the tributes stand on their podiums, the horn sounds. The following events occur during the bloodbath:
- Tower Power Pokey and King Boo fight for a bag. King Boo gives up and retreats.
- Goomboss finds a backpack full of camping equipment.
- The King Boo from Super Mario Sunshine (which from now on, will be named Boss Boo to avoid confusing him with the King Boo most people are familiar with), Elder Princess Shroob and Bowser run away from the Cornucopia.
- Dry Bowser severely injures Topmaniac and leaves him to die (Hahahahaha, the Topman tribe just can't catch a break, can't they? First, a regular Topman was the first to be eliminated in the previous simulation, and now Topmaniac has already bit the dust).
- King Kaliente grabs a backpack and retreats.
- Boolossus floats away from the Cornucopia.
- Petey Piranha finds King Bob-omb hiding in the Cornucopia and tosses him around a few times, before the latter eventually stops moving but doesn't explode, therefore he is now a big dud, or is he?
- Prince Pikante and Gooper Blooper run away from the Cornucopia.
- Kamek runs away with a lighter and some rope.
- Vincent Van Gore bashes Undergrunt Gunner's head against a rock several times.
- Sir Grodus runs away from the Cornucopia.
- Whomp King, feeling confused after witnessing Petey Piranha leave the area where King Bob-omb was previously hiding, finds a canteen full of water.
- Bouldergeist turns into his true form and flees quickly from the Cornucopia.
- Monty Tank takes a handful of throwing knives.
- Major Burrows grabs a shovel (apparently he thinks the holes he digs aren't big enough).
- King Lakitu floats away from the Cornucopia.
- General Guy stays at the cornucopia for resources.
Day 1:
- Kamek thinks about home.
- Gooper Blooper tries to spear fish with a trident (considering he already has experience holding a tennis racket with each tentacle in Mario Power Tennis, that shouldn't be too hard).
- Major Burrows attacks Whomp King, but he manages to escape.
- Petey Piranha begs for General Guy to kill him. He refuses, keeping Petey Piranha alive.
- Tower Power Pokey tries to spear fish with a trident (on the other hand, I don't see how he could pull that off).
- Team Monarch splits up to search for resources.
- Boolossus tends to Dry Bowser's wounds.
- Team Octopus, along with Bouldergeist (who moments earlier regained his stone form), Monty Tank and Boss Boo hunt for other tributes.
- King Boo is pricked by thorns while picking berries.
- Vincent Van Gore receives medical supplies from an unknown sponsor.
- Not even a day has passed and Team RPG officially dissolves as Elder Princess Shroob overpowers Sir Grodus with her tentacles, destroying the latter's body and later squashing his head for good measure.
- King Lakitu camouflages himself in the bushes (he must have covered the bushes in the trail of purple smoke his cloud leaves behind in order to be able to hide in them, though).
4 cannon shots can be heard in the distance, in honor of Topmaniac (World 10), King Bob-omb (World 4), Undergrunt Gunner (World 11) and Sir Grodus (World 12).
Night 1:
- Vincent van Gore attempts to get to a treetop by floating, but in the process he ends up activating a highly effective vacuum located inside the trunk of the tree, which ends up eventually sucking the Starving Artist, but not before he stumbles upon some Blue Shells that fall from the tree as a result of the commotion and land on top of Dry Bowser, who falls apart due to being hit by the shells.
- Major Burrows convinces King Lakitu to snuggle with him.
- Goomboss receives clean water from an unknown sponsor.
- Boolossus receives medical supplies from an unknown sponsor.
- Tower Power Pokey tries to sing himself to sleep.
- Monty Tank goes to sleep.
- King Kaliente receives clean water from an unknown sponsor.
- Elder Princess Shroob and Whomp King huddle for warmth.
- General Guy receives fresh food from an unknown sponsor.
- Bowser, Boss Boo and Petey Piranha unsuccessfully ambush King Boo, Bouldergeist and Prince Pikante. As a direct consequence of this failure, King Boo takes control of Bowser, forcing him to inhale a bunch of boulders (thrown by Bouldergeist) and fireballs (shot from the cannons of Prince Pikante's tank) before he ends up suffocating. Boss Boo's tongue ends up on fire due to being hit by one of Prince Pikante's fireballs and he attempts to dive into the ground but is stopped from doing so by a punch from Bouldergeist. King Boo, after leaving Bowser's body, shouts at Boss Boo: "I'll fight you like a true Boo!". Bowser's body then shoots an icy blast, leaving Boss Boo frozen and vulnerable to a bolt of energy from the gem on King Boo's crown, with King Boo laughing maniacally as the bolt hits Boss Boo and makes him vanish. Petey Piranha attempts to flee but King Boo appears directly in front of him, which leaves the former stunned and in a perfect position to be hit by a coconut spit out by Prince Pikante, making him fall to the ground and he dissolves into goop immediately after his belly is crushed by Bouldergeist's hands.
- Kamek and Gooper Blooper talk about the tributes still alive.
Day 2:
- Boolossus, Bouldergeist, Major Burrows, Whomp King and Monty Tank hunt for other tributes.
- Goomboss collects fruit from the tree mentioned in Night 1.
- King Lakitu, King Boo, King Kaliente and General Guy hunt for other tributes.
- Elder Princess Shroob injures herself.
- Prince Pikante steals from Kamek while he isn't looking.
- Tower Power Pokey picks flowers.
- Gooper Blooper receives clean water from an unknown sponsor.
5 cannon shots can be heard in the distance, in honor of Vincent Van Gore (World 8), Dry Bowser (World 2), Bowser (World 1), Boss Boo (World 9) and Petey Piranha (World 3).
Night 2:
- King Lakitu stays awake all night.
- Elder Princess Shroob screams for help.
- Prince Pikante quietly hums.
- Goomboss and Boolossus sleep in shifts.
- General Guy tends to Whomp King's wounds.
- Monty Tank goes to sleep.
- Major Burrows attempts to climb the tree mentioned in Night 1, but falls to his death (guess he should have stuck to digging).
- Gooper Blooper questions his sanity.
- King Kaliente sets up camp for the night.
- King Boo sees a fire, but stays hidden.
- Tower Power Pokey loses sight of where he is.
- Bouldergeist thinks about winning.
- Kamek cooks his food before putting his fire (the same one that King Boo saw) out.
Day 3:
- Boolossus, Tower Power Pokey, Gooper Blooper and King Boo raid Whomp King's camp while he is hunting.
- King Lakitu receives a hatchet from an unknown sponsor.
- Monty Tank tends to General Guy's wounds, as well as the damages done to his tank (Given that they both own powerful tanks that they pilot every time they go into battle, it can be assumed that both of them hold a great deal of respect for one another and see each other as worthy opponents).
- Bouldergeist makes a spear out of boulders.
- King Kaliente stalks Goomboss.
- Elder Princess Shroob sprains her ankle while running away from Prince Pikante.
- Kamek travels to higher ground.
1 cannon shot can be heard in the distance, in honor of Major Burrows (World 11); therefore Team Underground is down for the count.
Night 3:
- General Guy tends to Whomp King's wounds once again.
- Gooper Blooper destroys Elder Princess Shroob's supplies while she is asleep.
- King Boo attempts to replicate Kamek's fire from Night 2, but is unsuccessful.
- Monty Tank, making sure no one else is nearby, gets out of his tank and climbs a tree to rest.
- Prince Pikante unknowingly eats toxic berries.
- Kamek starts a fire once again.
- Boolossus, Tower Power Pokey and King Kaliente cheerfully sing songs together.
- Goomboss passes out from exhaustion.
- King Lakitu cannot handle the circumstances anymore, so he gets out of his cloud and lets himself be hit by his cloud's lightning.
- Bouldergeist loses sight of where he is.
Day 4:
- Goomboss injures himself.
- Bouldergeist discovers a cave.
- King Kaliente receives clean water from an unknown sponsor.
- Elder Princess Shroob, Whomp King, Tower Power Pokey and Gooper Blooper hunt for other tributes.
- Team Magic, along with Boolossus and Monty Tank raid King Boo's camp while he is hunting.
2 cannon shots can be heard in the distance, in honor of Prince Pikante (World 7) and King Lakitu (World 6).
Night 4:
- Monty Tank convinces Gooper Blooper to snuggle with him.
- Bouldergeist severely injures King Kaliente, but puts him out of his misery.
- Team Magic, along with King Boo, Elder Princess Shroob and Whomp King sleep in shifts.
- Tower Power Pokey sets up camp for the night.
- Boolossus climbs a tree to rest.
- Goomboss dies from hunger.
Day 5:
- Bouldergeist picks flowers.
- General Guy camouflages in the bushes.
- Gooper Blooper and Tower Power Pokey split up to search for resources.
- Whomp King discovers the cave mentioned in Day 4.
- Boolossus, Kamek and Monty Tank (along with Elder Princess Shroob) once again raid King Boo's camp while he is hunting.
2 cannon shots can be heard in the distance, in honor of King Kaliente (World 7) and Goomboss (World 1).
Night 5:
- General Guy and Gooper Blooper hold hands.
- Monty Tank defeats Tower Power Pokey in a fight, but spares his life.
- Boolossus sets up camp for the night.
- Kamek tries to sing himself to sleep.
- Bouldergeist, Elder Princess Shroob, Whomp King and King Boo tell each other ghost stories to lighten the mood.
Day 6:
- Boolossus discovers the cave mentioned in Day 4.
- Monty Tank questions his sanity.
- General Guy attacks Elder Princess Shroob, but she manages to escape.
- King Boo also discovers the cave and makes a truce with Boolossus.
- Kamek, Bouldergeist, Whomp King, Gooper Blooper and Tower Power Pokey hunt for other tributes.
No cannon shots can be heard in the distance.
Night 6:
- Whomp King receives clean water from an unknown sponsor.
- A fight occurs between a tentacled monster vs another tentacled monster, both of them keep up a good fight but eventually it's Gooper Blooper who comes out on top, overpowering Elder Princess Shroob and killing her.
- Team Magic, along with Bouldergeist, Monty Tank and Boolossus sleep in shifts.
- Tower Power Pokey curls into a ball and rolls into King Boo, leaving him without his crown, as well as vulnerable to the tree branch that fell from the tree mentioned in Night 1, as a result of the Pokey crashing into said tree (this unfortunately marks the end of Team Undead, which I picked as my favorite); the crown ends up landing near Dry Bowser's skull.
Next morning, the cornucopia is replenished with food, supplies, weapons and memoirs from the tributes' families, thus the following events occur during The Feast:
- In a way, Team 64 gets revenge against Team Sunshine, as Whomp King uses the body of his fallen partner King Bob-omb as an explosive and throws it in Gooper Blooper's direction (as he knew Gooper Blooper's late partner Petey Piranha was the one who eliminated King Bob-omb during The Bloodbath), with Boolossus serving as collateral damage.
- Bouldergeist, Team Magic and Monty Tank form a pact in which they eliminate themselves.
- Tower Power Pokey perishes from a mysterious infection contracted due to making contact with the tree he crashed into.
Thus, the winner is... Whomp King, from World 4!!

The next 4 simulations are related to Pokémon; I'm not sure whether to publish an entry related to each of them one by one or, once the 4 entries are done, publish them all at once, though. Anyway, Simulation no. 3 will feature the fully-evolved forms of the Starter Pokémon from the 8 generations that exist so far. Until next time!!
