Simulation 7: Mega Man Robot Masters 1/4

Note: This simulation was originally made in July 13th, 2021.

In this simulation, the tributes will consist of the Robot Masters fought by Megaman (or Rockman, as he is called in Japan) in the 1st 3 Mega Man games (as well as the first game's remake "Mega Man Powered Up"). As seen above, the districts are organized in the following way:

Districts 1-3 = The 6 Robot Masters from the original Mega Man game (Cut Man & Guts Man on District 1, Ice Man & Bomb Man on District 2, and Fire Man & Elec Man on District 3), created by Dr. Light but reprogrammed by Dr. Wily to cause mayhem during the events of said game.

District 4 = The 2 additional Robot Masters that appear alongside the first game's Robot Masters in Mega Man: Powered Up (Time Man & Oil Man), also built by Light and reprogrammed by Wily for combat.

Districts 5-8 = The 8 Robot Masters from Mega Man 2 (Metal Man & Air Man on District 5, Bubble Man & Quick Man on District 6, Crash Man & Flash Man on District 7, and Heat Man & Wood Man on District 8), built by Dr. Wily, based on the designs of the aforementioned Robot Masters from the first game.

Districts 9-12 = The 8 Robot Masters from Mega Man 3 (Needle Man & Magnet Man on District 9, Gemini Man & Hard Man on District 10, Top Man & Snake Man on District 11, and Spark Man & Shadow Man on District 12), created by both Dr. Light and Dr. Wily (with the exception of Shadow Man, who was created by either an extraterrestrial civilization according to the games, or the ancient alien supercomputer known as Ra Moon according to the Mega Man-related Archie Comics), before being used by the latter to wreak havoc.

Now, choose your District!! As for me, I must admit I don't really know much about Mega Man compared to other franchises like Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokémon and Super Mario Bros., but I think I'll go with District 4 because I like the concept of Time Man, as being an unfinished robot doesn't prevent him from being capable of slowing down time for a little while, as well as keeping a strict track of schedules to the point of being obsessive-compulsive. Therefore, District 4, I choose you!!

As the tributes stand on their podiums, the horn sounds. The following events occur during The Bloodbath:

- Shadow Man snaps Oil Man's neck (well, there goes Time Man's partner from District 4).

- Quick Man sets an explosive off, destroying both Hard Man and Wood Man.

- Guts Man (to himself): Go home before you get hurt!

Guts Man grabs a backpack and retreats.

- Metal Man snatches a pair of sais.

- Heat Man and Fire Man threaten a double self-destruction. It fails and they both die.

Fire Man (while being destroyed): FIIIIIIIIIRRRREEE!!!

- Bomb Man: Bombs!

Bomb Man runs away from the Cornucopia.

- Needle Man gathers as much food as he can.

- Time Man: Listening to such prattle is truly a waste of time!

Time Man runs away from the Cornucopia.

- Crash Man, Cut Man and Spark Man start fighting, but Cut Man runs away as Crash Man destroys Spark Man.

Cut Man (to Crash Man, right before fleeing): You've been changed into a bad robot, blowing things up at random...

- Snake Man, Air Man, Flash Man and Top Man run away from the Cornucopia.

- Ice Man scares Bubble Man away from the Cornucopia.

Ice Man (to Bubble Man): Stop and freeze!!

- Elec Man (to Gemini Man): Oh, I've never been so revolted... You're so... ugly... The less time with you, the better!

Gemini Man severely injures Elec Man and leaves him to be destroyed.

- Magnet Man runs away from the Cornucopia.

Day 1:

- Time Man: You're late. It's out of the question. Go home.

Guts Man: No can do. You're coming back with me.

Time Man: You would waste even more time?

Time Man runs away from Guts Man.

- Cut Man searches for a water source.

- Top Man explores the arena.

- Metal Man overhears Shadow Man and Magnet Man talking in the distance.

- Crash Man searches for a water source.

- Bubble Man scares Bomb Man off.

- Ice Man succumbs to his untreated injuries.

Ice Man (with his last breath): Soldier, finish your mission!!

- Snake Man injures himself.

- Flash Man goes hunting.

- Needle Man attacks Quick Man, but he manages to escape.

- Air Man attacks Gemini Man, but he manages to escape.

8 cannon shots can be heard in the distance, in honor of Oil Man (District 4), Hard Man (District 10), Wood Man & Heat Man (District 8), Fire Man (District 3), Spark Man (District 12), Elec Man (District 3) and Ice Man (District 2). So, a third of the Robot Masters are already gone at this point, including half of the Megaman 1/Powered Up Robot Masters, what an interesting way to start things off, don't you think?

Night 1:

- Magnet Man receives an explosive from an unknown sponsor (Well, he was created by both Dr. Light and Dr. Wily, but I'm pretty sure the one sending explosives is Wily).

- Flash Man and Quick Man sleep in shifts.

- Time Man (to Metal Man): You're early for your appointment.

Metal Man and Time Man talk about the tributes still alive.

- Needle Man is awoken by nightmares.

- Snake Man lets his partner Top Man into his shelter.

- Gemini Man convinces Air Man to snuggle with him.

- Cut Man: Even if it cuts me in half, I will make you (the other Robot Masters) whole again!

  Cut Man thinks about winning.

- Bubble Man, Shadow Man, Crash Man and Bomb Man sleep in shifts.

- Guts Man: I've got guts!

  Guts Man quietly hums.

Day 2:

- Time Man discovers a river.

- Bomb Man searches for firewood.

- Quick Man severely injures Metal Man, but puts him out of his misery (makes sense considering Metal Man's weakness, besides his own Metal Blade, turns out to be Quick Man's weapon, the Quick Boomerang).

- Bubble Man discovers a cave.

- Crash Man receives a hatchet from an unknown sponsor (Considering he was built by Dr. Wily using the designs of both Bomb Man and Guts Man, it's not hard to guess who's the "unknown" sponsor).

- Guts Man (to his pursuers): You big idiots! What'll happen to me if I get fired?! I'm gonna take you down with me! Ready!

3 Robot Masters from Mega Man 3 (Shadow Man, Snake Man and Needle Man) track down and destroy 1 Robot Master from the 1st Mega Man (Guts Man).

- Gemini Man taints Top Man's fuel, leading to the latter's destruction.

- Magnet Man receives clean water from an unknown sponsor (probably Dr. Light, considering he and Wily were the ones who built him).

- Cut Man (to Flash Man): Get ready to be sliced and diced!

Flash Man sprains his ankle while running away from Cut Man.

- Air Man receives an explosive from an unknown sponsor (again, Wily is the one who built this Robot Master, so it shouldn't be too hard to guess who's the one sending explosives).

3 cannon shots can be heard in the distance, in honor of Metal Man (District 5), Guts Man (District 1) and Top Man (District 11).

Night 2:

- Bubble Man, Shadow Man and Cut Man cheerfully sing songs together.

- Quick Man dares Needle Man to destroy him. He refuses, keeping Quick Man alive.

- Time Man: You're late. I grew tired of waiting.

Bomb Man: Don't sweat the small stuff! I go by my party clock!

  Time Man: Imbecile...

Air Man, Bomb Man and Time Man discuss the games and what might happen in the morning.

- Crash Man thinks about winning.

- Gemini Man looks at the night sky.

- Snake Man and Flash Man hold hands.

- Magnet Man climbs a tree to rest.

Day 3:

- Flash Man collects fruit from a tree.

- Shadow Man makes a wooden spear.

- Bubble Man searches for firewood.

- Cut Man discovers a cave.

- Magnet Man, Air Man and Snake Man hunt for other tributes.

- Time Man tries to sleep through the entire day.

- Quick Man injures himself.

- Bomb Man is unable to convince Crash Man to not destroy him.

Bomb Man (while being destroyed): Bombs!

Night 3:

- Time Man tries to treat his infection.

- Crash Man stays awake all night.

- Cut Man attempts to start a fire, but is unsuccessful.

Day 5:

- Bubble Man and Flash Man split up to search for resources.

- Air Man, Shadow Man and Cut Man hunt for other tributes.

- Crash Man repeatedly stabs Quick Man to death with grappling bombs coming from his Crash Bomber, one of Quick Man's weaknesses (the other one being Flash Man's Time Stopper).

- Snake Man destroys Time Man for his supplies. (Oh no!)

Time Man (while being destroyed): Time's up!

3 cannon shots can be heard in the distance, in honor of Magnet Man (District 9), Quick Man (District 6) and Time Man (District 4).

Night 5:

- Gemini Man loses sight of where he is.

- Cut Man quietly hums.

- Shadow Man is awoken by nightmares.

- Bubble Man cooks his food before putting his fire out.

- Flash Man is awoken by nightmares.

Next morning, the cornucopia is replenished with food, supplies, weapons and memoirs from the tributes' families, thus the folloiwng events occur during The Feast:

Night 6:

- Cut Man: Cut it up!

Cut Man and Flash Man fight Crash Man and Gemini Man. Crash Man and Gemini Man decide to get rid of Cut Man first, with a coordinated attack. Then, Gemini Man proceeds to create 4 holographic copies of himself in order to confuse Flash Man, leaving the latter vulnerable to his former partner Crash Man's Crash Bomber.

- Bubble Man attempts to start a fire, but is unsuccessful.

Day 7:

- Gemini Man tries to spear fish with a trident while witnessing Bubble Man from afar. Bubble Man, who managed to spot both Gemini Man and a seriously injured Crash Man getting near him, tries to get away but ends up falling into a pit, meeting his end there. Shortly afterwards, Crash Man succumbs to his untreated injuries from the previous night.

4 cannon shots can be heard in the distance, in honor of Cut Man (District 1), Flash Man (District 7), Bubble Man (District 6) and Crash Man (District 7).

Thus, the winner is... Gemini Man, from District 10!!

The season code is the following: dtJk0k1U. Here's a sneak peek of the next part, which will feature the Robot Masters from Mega Man 4, 5 and 6:
