What's up, everyone? MultiAwesomeness here. Hope you're having a great day, ladies and gentlemen! Anyways, let's get down to business. In this simulation, the tributes will consist of characters from video games and/or animated series that use their wits in order to get the upper hand in fights against stronger opponents (whether it's to strike at their attackers' weak points or to trick them into letting their guard down), as well as to develop technological gadgets and come up with creative ways to accomplish their goals. As seen above, the districts are organized in the following way:
District 1: Miles Tails Prower (the two-tailed fox that's a genius inventor and the best friend of Sonic the Hedgehog) and Futaba Sakura (the hacker of The Phantom Thieves of Hearts from Persona 5).
District 2: Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man (founding member of the Avengers) and Reed Richards a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic (leader of the Fantastic Four), the versions from Avengers: EMH.
District 3: Dexter (the protagonist of Dexter's Laboratory), and Jimmy Neutron the Boy Genius.
District 4: The multidimensional traveler Rick Sanchez and Azmuth (the creator of the Omnitrix from the Ben 10 franchise).
District 5: The Pokémon with an alleged IQ of 5,000 known as Alakazam, and Grey Matter (a small and intelligent frog-like alien, from the same race as Azmuth, that Ben Tennyson can transform into).
District 6: Bulma (from Dragon Ball) and Twilight Sparkle (from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic).
District 7: Barbara Gordon a.k.a. Oracle (the mission control for heroes such as the Bat-Family and/or the Justice League, whether in comics or in the DC Universe Online game) and Cynthia (an archaeologist and Champion of the Sinnoh region from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, their remakes and Platinum).
District 8: Professor Layton and the Autobot named Wheeljack.
District 9: Dexter's rival Mandark, and Wile E. Coyote from Looney Tunes.
District 10: Calculator (the mission control for villains in DC Universe Online) and Cyrus (the leader of the villainous Team Galactic from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, their remakes and Platinum).
District 11: Lex Luthor (the DCAU version) and Victor Von Doom a.k.a. Doctor Doom (the version from Avengers: EMH).
District 12: Wave the Swallow (Tails's rival from Sonic Riders) and Goro Akechi (the ace detective from Persona 5, who went from an enemy to the protagonists to an ally, then an enemy once again, and so on and so forth).
Now, choose your district!! For my part, it was a pretty tough choice between 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 11. However, I ultimately chose to go with the team featuring Tails. Tails is my favorite Sonic character, because he has such a relatable backstory, I liked his character development in the Sonic Adventure duology (I consider that games like the Wii version of Sonic Colors, Sonic: Lost World and Sonic Forces did his character dirty, because instead of being a playable character in spite of being involved in the plot of these games, he's just there to provide some exposition but that's it, don't even get me started on the "SoNiC hElP mE" moment from Forces) and I can't wait to see him in action in the Sonic 2 film. I originally wanted to put Bulma in the same team as Tails as a reference to the Youtube channel "Tails and Sonic Pals", whose voice actress has also voiced the character of Bulma in Dragon Ball Z parody videos, but I personally found it more interesting to have the character of Futaba from Persona 5 in the same team as Tails. Ok, enough talk. District 1, I choose you!!
As the tributes stand on their podiums, the horn sounds. The following events occur during The Bloodbath:
- Futaba and Dexter fight for a bag. Futaba strangles Dexter with the straps and runs.
Futaba: Suprise attack: successful! Now just don't lose!
- Iron Man flies away from the Cornucopia.
Iron Man: Good thing Cap's not here. This kind of thing didn't happen in the 40's. He might freak out. Like I am now.
- Doctor Doom runs away with a lighter and some rope.
- Akechi, Wheeljack, Cyrus and Tails run away from the Cornucopia.
- Bulma finds a backpack full of camping equipment.
- Mr. Fantastic runs away from the Cornucopia.
- Oracle-Bot finds a canteen full of water.
- Grey Matter and Lex Luthor run away from the Cornucopia.
Lex Luthor: A being with your abilities could be very useful to me on a, shall we say, global scale? Why don't you hop into my shoulder and we'll discuss it?
Grey Matter (before retreating even further): Nope!
Lex Luthor: Well then, I guess I'll have to kill you.
- Alakazam grabs a shield leaning on the cornucopia.
- Twilight Sparkle runs away from the Cornucopia.
- Professor Layton finds a canteen full of water.
- Azmuth finds a bow, some arrows, and a quiver.
- Wave receives a trident from inside the Cornucopia.
- Mandark runs into the Cornucopia and hides.
Mandark: HA haha! HA haha haha!
- Jimmy Neutron and Cynthia fight for a bag. Jimmy Neutron gives up and retreats.
- Wile E. Coyote finds a bag full of explosives.
- Rick Sanchez and Calculator-Bot run away from the Cornucopia.
Day 1:
- Iron Man thinks about home.
- Mr. Fantastic and Twilight Sparkle hunt for other tributes.
- Doctor Doom dares Cynthia to try to kill him. She refuses, keeping Doctor Doom alive.
- Bulma, Lex Luthor and the Oracle-Bot get into a fight. Oracle-Bot easily disposes of both with a rocket barrage.
Oracle (before launching the rockets): Fair warning, I'm really good at this!
Lex Luthor (sees missiles headed towards him): What, fool?! You dare-
- Mandark receives medical supplies from an unknown sponsor.
- Azmuth, Cyrus, Wheeljack and Tails hunt for other tributes.
- Coyote steals from Professor Layton while he isn't looking.
- Rick Sanchez attacks Futaba, but she manages to escape.
Rick (while attacking): So I have an emo streak. It's part of what makes me so rad.
Futaba (while escaping): You need to deal with the despair! It's bad to just ignore it!
- Alakazam uses his two spoons to repeatedly bash Jimmy Neutron's head.
- Grey Matter ambushes Wave, but she manages to escape.
- Akechi goes hunting.
4 cannon shots can be heard in the distance, in honor of Dexter (District 3), Bulma (District 6), Lex Luthor (District 11) and Jimmy Neutron (District 3).
Night 1:
- Wave attempts to start a fire, but is unsuccessful.
- Futaba looks at the night sky.
- Mr. Fantastic tries to sing himself to sleep.
- Mandark fends Azmuth, Doctor Doom and Alakazam away from his fire.
- Grey Matter tends to his wounds.
- Wheeljack climbs a tree to rest at the top.
- Akechi defeats Twilight Sparkle in a fight, but spares her life.
Akechi: I really wish you weren't such a disappointment to me...
Twilight (more concerned about the time than her recent loss): Clock is ticking, Twilight. Clock. Is. Ticking. Keep it together.
Akechi (after letting out a frustrated sigh): I'm surrounded by absolute fools...
- Cynthia starts a fire.
- Oracle-Bot cooks her food before putting her fire out.
- Wile E. Coyote receives a hatchet from an unknown sponsor.
- Tails destroys Iron Man's backup armors while he is asleep.
Tails: Making robots is the same as breaking them.
- Rick Sanchez convinces Cyrus to snuggle with him.
- Professor Layton quietly hums.
- Calculator-Bot climbs a tree to rest.
Day 2:
- Mr. Fantastic tries to stomp on Grey Matter, but he manages to escape.
- Azmuth discovers a river.
- Alakazam succumbs to an infection.
- Doctor Doom and Tails hunt for other tributes.
Tails (thinking to himself): That's not an Eggman robot...
Doom (feeling insulted after hearing such a comparison): I would like a word with you, talking fox.
- Iron Man and Mandark work together for the day.
- Cyrus goes hunting.
- Futaba diverts Professor Layton's attention and runs away.
- Wave and Rick Sanchez split up to search for resources.
- Wheeljack receives clean water from an unknown sponsor.
- Twilight Sparkle, Calculator, Akechi, Cynthia and Wile E. Coyote hunt for other tributes.
- Oracle-Bot tries to rest through the entire day.
1 cannon shot can be heard in the distance, in honor of Alakazam (District 5).
Night 2:
- Twilight Sparkle quietly hums.
Twilight: Something tells me not everything is going to be fine.
- Wave is awoken by nightmares.
- Cyrus quietly hums.
- Cynthia cries herself to sleep.
- Professor Layton destroys Wile E. Coyote's ACME supplies while he is asleep.
- Tails passes out from exhaustion.
Tails: I'm not feeling so good...
- Iron Man and Grey Matter talk about the tributes still alive.
- Mr. Fantastic thinks about home.
- Futaba receives clean water from an unknown sponsor.
- Wheeljack begs for Calculator-Bot to destroy him. He refuses, keeping Wheeljack alive, as he perceives he could be a useful asset.
- Akechi attempts to climb a tree with fragile branches, but ends up falling on Oracle-Bot, killing them both.
- Rick Sanchez lets Mandark into his shelter. Mandark, for some reason, ends up thinking out loud about his attraction to Dexter's sister Dee Dee, to which Rick responds in a disgusted tone:
Rick: Listen Mandark, I hate to break it to you, but what people call "love" is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed.
- Doctor Doom loses sight of where he is.
- Azmuth cooks his food before putting his fire out.
Day 3:
- Cynthia injures herself.
- Mandark defeats Cyrus in a fight, but spares his life.
Cyrus: How could I lose to someone with an incomplete spirit?!
- Tails searches for firewood.
- Grey Matter discovers a river.
- Mr. Fantastic makes a wooden spear.
- Futaba defeats Calculator-Bot in a fight, but spares his life.
Futaba: If you're gonna run, now's your chance.
Calculator: Before you go getting any crazy ideas, Oracle 2.0, we're still not friends. Not even if you begged.
- Professor Layton picks flowers.
- Wheeljack sprains his ankle while running away from Doctor Doom.
- Wile E. Coyote and Rick Sanchez hunt for other tributes.
- Azmuth discovers a cave.
- Iron Man practices his archery.
- Wave discovers a river.
- Twilight Sparkle thinks about home.
2 cannon shots can be heard in the distance, in honor of Akechi (District 12) and Oracle (District 7).
Night 3:
- Iron Man attempts to start a fire, but is unsuccessful.
Iron Man (feeling tired): I could try my uni-beam.
- Futaba sees the fire mentioned earlier, but stays hidden.
- Wheeljack receives a hatchet from an unknown sponsor.
- Rick Sanchez tries to treat his infection.
Rick: Wubba Lubba Dub Dub!
- Wile E. Coyote climbs a tree to rest.
- Professor Layton and Cynthia talk about the tributes still alive.
- Wave thinks about home.
- Doctor Doom and Tails tell stories about themselves to each other.
Tails: I'm gonna fly circles around you!
Doctor Doom: Mr. Prower, I am not some bald scientist with a fake moustache that can be distracted by your begging for your blue friend's help. You are nothing to Doom. And your pathetic attempts to play mind games with me amount to exactly nothing. So please, stop embarrassing yourself!
Tails: I've changed a lot since I started hanging out with Sonic, but I can't depend on him forever. I know I can do this by myself!
- Twilight Sparkle looks at the night sky.
- Mandark receives medical supplies from an unknown sponsor.
- Mr. Fantastic forces Cyrus to kill Azmuth or Calculator-Bot. He refuses to kill, so Mr. Fantastic kills him instead.
- Grey Matter inadvertently detonates a landmine while trying to arm it.
Day 4:
- Futaba tends to Mandark's wounds.
- Rick Sanchez, Wheeljack and Twilight Sparkle get into a fight. Twilight Sparkle triumphantly kills them both with a fail-safe spell (generated by a beam coming from her horn).
- Mr. Fantastic and Calculator-Bot track down and kill Wile E. Coyote.
- Doctor Doom tries to sleep through the entire day.
- Wave searches for firewood.
- Azmuth goes hunting.
- Iron Man discovers a river.
- Professor Layton searches for firewood.
- Tails receives an explosive from an unknown sponsor.
Tails: I'm not ready to give up just yet!
- Cynthia searches for firewood.
The remaining tributes appear to be shocked with the sudden arrival of a simian army led by a chimpanzee with a helmet and a purple cape (Mojo Jojo: For too long have we sat under the thumb of mankind! The time has come to oppose that thumb, and take hold of what is rightfully ours.... THE WORLD!), who proceeds to unleash the primates into The Arena before making his exit, laughing maniacally as he does so:
- Tails uses Doctor Doom as a shield from the Chemical X-infused primates.
Tails: How do ya' like me now Doom?!
Doctor Doom: None may lay hands on D-
- Iron Man: I don't care who you are but this ends now!
While running, Mandark falls over and grabs Iron Man on the way down. The mutated primates kill them both.
Iron Man (before being attacked by the rabid monkeys): Okay, now I care who you are!
- Wave injures Mr. Fantastic and leaves him for the primates.
- Futaba, Cynthia, Professor Layton and Azmuth survive.
- Calculator-Bot is pummeled to the ground and squashed by a troop of mutated primates.
10 cannon shots can be heard in the distance, in honor of Cyrus (District 10), Grey Matter (District 5), Rick Sancchez (District 4), Wheeljack (District 8), Wile E. Coyote (District 9), Doctor Doom (District 11), Mandark (District 9), Iron Man (District 2), Mr. Fantastic (District 2) and Calculator (District 10).
Night 4:
- Futaba lets Wave into her shelter.
- Azmuth receives clean water from an unknown sponsor.
- Professor Layton fends Cynthia, Tails and Twilight Sparkle away from his fire.
Next morning, the Cornucopia is replenished with food, supplies, weapons and memoirs from the tributes' families:
- Twilight Sparkle, Tails and Professor Layton decide not to go to The Feast.
- Cynthia's trap kills Wave.
- Futaba catches Azmuth off guard and kills him.
Day 5:
- Cynthia stalks Futaba.
- Tails silently snaps Professor Layton's neck.
- Twilight Sparkle dies of a mysterious infection.
4 cannon shots can be heard in the distance, in honor of Wave (District 12), Azmuth (District 4), Professor Layton (District 8) and Twilight Sparkle (District 6).
Night 5:
- Tails dies from hunger. (NOOO!!)
- Futaba bashes Cynthia's head in with a mace.
Thus, the winner is... Futaba, from District 1!!
